At some point in the near future, the membership will be called upon to vote on a new contract to replace the current MOU.

In accordance with our constitution and bylaws, only members "in good standing" are allowed to vote on Union business.

A member is considered to be in good standing when:

1) The member has signed a Union membership card  for Local 453.

2)  The member is current with thepayment of their monthly dues.

3)  The member has either paid the initiation fee in full, signed up for the initiation fee payment plan or transferred in from another OPEIU-affiliated union (Local 60or 600)
